Dr. Kartik Sutariya is a leading and eminent gastro surgeon based in Rajkot, Gujarat (India). He is the first and only qualified gastro surgeon in the Saurashtra region. He did his undergraduate studies at PS Medical College, Karamsad in the year 2001. After completing his MBBS, he did his MS (General Surgery) from VS Medical College, Ahmedabad in the year 2005. He even passed the DNB (General Surgery) in 2006.

In the year 2006, Dr. Kartik joined the highly professional and skilled team of gastrointestinal surgeons in Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai, headed by one of the best GI surgeons in the country, Dr. P. Jagannath. He has gained extensive first-hand experience in assisting and performing high-end and complex gastroesophageal, liver and pancreatic, and colonic surgeries during this period. During this period he completed his training in gastrointestinal surgery under the auspices of the National Board of India and obtained the DNB (Gastrointestinal surgery). Dr. Kartik gained excellent proficiency in performing advanced laparoscopic surgeries and performed a large number of complex laparoscopic procedures.

With over 3000 GI surgeries to his credit, he is an excellent gastro surgeon providing the best outcomes. He is an experienced liver and pancreatic surgeon who has treated many complex pancreatic and liver diseases. He is the pioneer of advanced laparoscopic surgeries in the Saurashtra region. His area of special interest is hepato-pancreatico-biliary surgery including the management of acute and chronic pancreatitis, laparoscopic pancreatic resections, and liver resections.
